Corridor Rescue Pup-Date

A Gem Hiding in Plain Sight

Quiet yet confident, and on the smaller side under 40lbs, 1 year old Patrick is just about the perfect dog, yet managing to fly under the proverbial radar when it comes to adoption applications! We're befuddled by this, as his ruddy coat and striking golden eyes make for a truly beautiful dog inside and out. Gone are his early days of mangey coat and timid nature, this bright-eyed boy is full of love and curiosity! Great with other dogs, respectful of cats and rare to meet a stranger, this gem of a pup is waiting for his perfect family to scoop him up! Adopt or foster Patrick!

The Comeback Kid!

This week we are celebrating the successful treatment of heartworms by one of our very own. Rescued from a life on a short chain, Boots has made many milestones while in our care. From becoming our playgroup rockstar, to mastering his leash manners, and now testing negative for heartworms, Boots has shown us just how resilient our rescues really are. As we celebrate

Boots in the care of our kennel facility, we know there is nothing quite like the love of a real home. Please consider becoming the final milestone of Boot’s rescue journey today! Adopt or foster Boots.

We are always happy to have volunteers from our community, and this month we want to extend a grateful "thank you" to Thomas M, from Troop 202, Red Wolf District, Sam Houston Area Council. As part of his Eagle rank requirements, Thomas led his troop in removing, and rebuilding an unsafe ramp that was attached to one of our buildings. The level of dedication and attention to detail that they provided on this project was remarkable - over 100 hours spent in the planning and execution.  As one of the kennel staff stated, "Everyone on staff and all the dogs could stand on that ramp it will not budge!" We truly appreciate all that they were able to accomplish!
